MARK AGUHAR, RIP
I didn't know her, but I loved her drawings. I knew of her because the Internet is a queer-friendly free space where ideas and images fly around like missives, or like missiles. I assumed we would cross paths eventually. Sadly, no we never will because Mark Aguhar died yesterday.

I wrote this post for Proof Gallery's new blog the other day. In which I discuss Whitney Houston, Mike Kelley, diva worship, Los Angeles, and "The Preacher's Wife." Take a look. Proof became my fave gallery in Boston when they presented my solo show "Ultra Sensitive" in 2010. I'm supposed to write more for them in the future, so look out.

NYU MFA 1ST YEAR SHOW, WEDNESDAY
