On Stage

This holiday just never ends. On Friday night I went out to sing karaoke with my publicist Carolyn and a bunch of our friends from high school. It was funny. I love karaoke at Butterfly on Farmington Ave in West Hartford. I sang Hooked on a Feeling by BJ Thomas, which is my signature.

THEN, on Saturday night, sister Katherine turned 21 so I took her and her friends to the Polo Club so that her first taste of alcohol could happen only moments after her first step inside of a drag bar. It was perfectly entertaining. The Polo Club is the pit of hell. Some of the BEST drag queens EVER. Miss Misery OWNS.

As part of her act, Misery was calling cute boys up on stage and DEMANDING that they remove their clothes down to their briefs and then she ripped those off too. These poor boys lost all control of their bodies and looked as scared as sinners in the hands of an angry god. It was hilariously lascivious and Kate was shocked but in a good way.

Last night the Dream Team spun a party at Sully's and everybody in the world that ever lived in Connecticut or still does was there. It was packed and tons of fun. Its totally necessary to drink several beers after having to spend quality time with family. If there's one thing in this world that I hate, its family-togetherness.

But who cares. I overexaggerate. My family is fine. Yesterday was pleasant enough. Last night was fun.
