FROM HERE TO THERE.
Here are some pictures from my opening on Saturday in Park Slope. The show is called "From Here to There" and its at the Brooklyn Artists Gym on 7th street between 2nd and 3rd avenues in Brooklyn. Friends and artists Isabelle Rancier and Julia Norton, both of Brooklyn, are in the show as well. There were a lot of cute boys and girls who came. I met a lot of people and a large handful of Connecticut chums rolled in to look at art and drink Miller High Life. I think it was a great success. Isabelle's mother came in from Florida, uttering some of the most priceless material I've ever heard.
First, a leisurely day spent in the pool, trying to relax before meeting our public:
Leaving Isabelle's place yesterday was harder than usual. The weather was dreary, I was having a lot of fun where I was, and Hartford Connecticut seemed like a downtrodden, depressed, distant and altogether strange place to call home. Your shining face is the only thing making this alleged "city" bearable.
