My baby bought me a delicious steak and a bottle of wine at Trumbull Kitchen on Wednesday night at then we picked up long lost Victor to meet KNS at Barca for cocktails and dancing. It was fun. There were tons of Brazilians at Barca being sexy and exotic. I missed every other party I had planned on going to. We went over to Vibz too late to see Jovan play, unfortunately. When I walked in like, three huge doormen started pawing me up and down and demanding a $10 cover charge. Never ever pay covers in Hartford. Ever. Nobody earns that money and the management is desperate for you to be there anyway.
I heard that Vegas Blvd was crowded and fun. Tons and tons of regulars, plus hundreds of out-of-towners. I would have gone, but Brian F, KNS, Calvin and Victor were being so hilarious and I was happy/thankful (gay) to be were I was.
