WHERE MY GAYS AT?

This morning Jillian reminded me that the Connecticut Supreme Court was going to give their decision on whether or not to legalize same-sex marriage in the state. I said, "yeah right." But then at 11:32 on the dot Jillian texted me that the gays won. I admit I was surprised, happy and whatever, really gay about it. I became aroused almost INSTANTLY.

So exciting exciting exciting. Thousands of gay couples have had their lives and loves officially legitimized, recognized and to some degree stabilized. Here's to the further deterioration of traditional definitions and sanctities of marriage, normalcy, civilization and everything else. I am ALL FOR IT. I can't wait to marry three or four times and have high-profile messy divorces one after the other like every other modern American citizen.

This evening I went to the celebration rally at the capital. It was lively and clearly joyful. There were lots of real sexy college activists, some hot dads, and tons and tons of teary lesbians. They obviously couldn't help but play We Are Family by Sister Sledge.

On my way from the car to the capital steps I had to walk through the park. I passed a park bench where a polite middle-aged man was sitting and he asked me for a cigarette. I always give away cigarettes to most people that ask, so I obliged. Then he asked me what I was doing and I said "Oh just walking to the rally at the capital," and then he asked in rather suggestive terms, "Do you want to talk?"

This man-hooker was asking me if I wanted a date! I was shocked, delighted; thrilled really. I couldn't say yes because I've heard bad things about that whole scene, and generally I never pay for sex. But how fitting! What a day! Life is incredible! On your way to the gay marriage celebration, where hundreds of proud, out gay men and women are standing up for equal rights, and you can STILL be solicited for gay sex from a prostitute in the park. I absolutely adore the irony.

I'm sure Polo is going to be freaking ridiculous tonight.
