DJ Rizzla at Milky Way, Jamaica Plain

Last night after congratulating everybody at the Windsor Art Center, Phoebe, Dave Sin, Damo, Sanchez and I drove up to Boston to see our beloved Brian Friedberg (DJ Rizzla) spin at Milky Way in Jamaica Plain. Brian is so good. Boston lovez it. The crowd absolutely ate him up. He plays ragga, dub, hip hop, trancehall, etc, I guess. I can't keep track of what any of it is called. Anyway, Jamie Martini tells me that they're having a three story Halloween party with three floors of DJ dance parties at their Cambridge home which sounds totally scary and is officially in the running to be my number one Halloween party plan. I'm dressing up as Michael Phelps. So scary!!

In other news: Happy Paul Newman Day! Gov. Jodi Rell declared today Paul Newman Day so I think I'm going to eat salad dressing, fig newmans and popcorn later and maybe watch "Cool Hand Luke."
