On Saturday night we went to Brooklyn to see D. Gookin and Murray Flexor play a Bushwick rooftop for a MoodGadget compilation record release party. It was a really fun party even if it was a tad muggy and wet. D. Gookin played brilliantly and convinced me yet again that he's a pop genius. He sounds better when he's not in a basement, a synagogue, or the Hartt School. The rooftop was nearly ideal and the crowd recieved him well.
After he played, Murray Flexor played which was nice to see again and then everyone partied more. Today, I'm really tired and I can't wait to go to bed.
