Karaoke Lives

Last night we went to sing karaoke at Sweet Jane's downtown. The thing was packed, which we found later was because there was a big Frito-Lay conference in town staying at a nearby hotel. Regardless, we absolutely killed it. We tore the mother-effing house down. There were lots of highlights. A minute by minute recap below.

On Monday night, I went up to Northampton for a special preview of Linda Mac and Thomas Camileri's new line, Brass Pony. They're launching this Spring with a website and a runway show TBA. It's all vintage, with a fair amount of couture house ready-to-wear items, including Diane Von Furstenberg, Christian Dior, but they don't have any more Dior because I bought it all. Just kidding. I only bought two.

more than just a pretty face, Linda scored a record deal immediately following her rendition of "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar

this guy ruined everything by closing an otherwise lovely night with his screamo treatment of Oasis's beloved "Wonderwall"

Your posts crack me the fuck up. RnR Karaoke was a blast - and I got to see you when I wasn't wasted. Not as fun, I know, but definitely less embarassing.
