What a long day yesterday was. I won't bore everybody with the longer bits, but anyway, I went to the bizarre Newark, New Jersey all day on business, and then stopped at the wonderful Kevin Van Aelst's birthday party in New Haven on my way back to Hartford. It was intimate, and even magical, as evidenced by all of the magical dream-like photographs below. Then I went to Sweet Jane's at 12:30 for Brent's birthday party for like 30 minutes and had some real fun. Everyone refuses to grow up. We are being dragged kicking and screaming into adulthood, which I guess is why birthday parties are what they are.
